Ar domu par kūku /// With the thought of a cake

Today I feel like a 20th century's housewife, I'm not sure where does it come from, but it feels really good, and somehow remarkably elatedly and lightly cheerfully. I wore a skirt today, a black and long one, more like a The Queens of Spades', not a housewife's, however a pretty and pleasant one. One African looking girl in Uni ladies bathroom even told me what a great skirt I have. The feeling of the skirt is rather about the end of the 19th century, still the cherry clip outruns that for several decades, and at the end I get in the early 30ies.
During the day I tried on several dreamy garments, bought some ingredients for a curd cake, baked two cakes in my mind and when I came back home my adorable French flatmate handed me a leaflet with her absolutely fantastic Tiramisu recipe on it. Then we chatted a little - what pretty booties I've bought, what a beautiful watch she's got, and how nice it sometimes is to slip into your pajamas or nightgown early and to crawl into bed. Or to pass all the morning or day in the sleepwear.
And that's exactly what I'm doing now. I slightly cleared up my room - a pure amusement when you're in mood of housewife many years ago -, put on my nightgown, and now cookbooks about spices and salad recipes are impatiently waiting for me. Even my horoscope says this is a good time just to stay at home and lay down on the bed .

The recipe of the most delicious Tiramisu ever, written in pink and baby blue, in Latvian (!).

Sometimes it's quite pleasing to choose and buy food.
                                               Atbildīgs brīdis.

                                               A moment full of responsibility.
                                       Atviegloti, priecīgi un bez vilšanās.

                                       Relieved, glad, and no disappointment.

  1. From now on I'll be bilingual here. The English version won't be as mistake-free as the Latvian one though, sorry, my dear English readers!
